About Dr. Amir Moradian, DMD

Who you are seeing

Dr. Amir Moradian is an implant and restorative dentist practising in Tampa. He graduated from the LECOM School of Dental Medicine and has worked in dentistry for 17 years, the last four of them here in Tampa.

His work spans both the surgical and the restorative side of the same case: full-mouth extractions, alveoloplasty, single-tooth implant placement, implant overdentures, fixed hybrid prostheses and removable prosthetics. He practises in a high-volume implant and prosthetic setting and works directly with in-house laboratory technicians, which keeps the design of the final teeth close to the surgery that has to carry them.

What brings people in

Four questions cover most of the work: a tooth that is missing, a tooth that is cracked or decayed or hurting, an arch that has stopped doing its job, and a healthy smile you would still change. Away from the chair

The part of the job he values most is the teaching: walking a patient through what is actually happening in their own mouth, so the plan they agree to is one they understand. When he is not in the office doing that, you will find him traveling, on the golf course, staying active, or spending time with the people close to him.
